دور الإمام المغيلي في نشر الثقافة العربية

يتناول هذا البحث دور الإمام المغيلي في نشر الثقافة العربية في بلاد السودان الغربي، من خلال إبراز جهوده العلمية والدعوية والإصلاحية التي أسهمت في ترسيخ اللغة العربية وتعزيز مكانتها بوصفها لغةً للعلم والدين والإدارة. ويستعرض البحث حياة الإمام المغيلي، ورحلاته العلمية، وصلاته العلمية بسلاطين وعلماء المنطقة، وأثر ذلك في نشر التعليم العربي والإسلامي. كما يسلط الضوء على الوسائل التي اعتمدها الإمام المغيلي في نشر الثقافة العربية، ومنها التأليف باللغة العربية، وتدريس العلوم الشرعية واللغوية، وتكوين العلماء والقضاة، وإرساء حلقات العلم، وإصلاح المؤسسات الدينية، إضافة إلى مراسلاته العلمية التي كان لها أثر بالغ في توجيه الحكام والعلماء وتعزيز مكانة العربية في المجتمع. ويخلص البحث إلى أن الإمام المغيلي كان من أبرز الشخصيات العلمية التي أسهمت في ازدهار الثقافة العربية في غرب إفريقيا، وأن جهوده تركت آثارًا علمية وحضارية امتدت إلى الأجيال اللاحقة، وأسهمت في ازدهار الحركة العلمية، وانتشار التعليم العربي والإسلامي، وظهور مؤلفات عربية عديدة في المنطقة. ويوصي البحث بمزيد من العناية بتراث الإمام المغيلي، وتحقيق مخطوطاته، ودراسة أثره الثقافي والفكري في غرب إفريقيا، لما يمثله من أهمية في تاريخ الثقافة العربية والإسلامية. ويحتوي البحث على ثلاثة مباحث كما يأتي:

English Abstract:
This research examines the role of Imam al-Maghili in the dissemination of Arabic culture in the Western Sudan, highlighting his scholarly, missionary, and reformist efforts that contributed significantly to strengthening the Arabic language and consolidating its status as the language of scholarship, religion, and administration. The study reviews the life of Imam al-Maghili, his scholarly journeys, and his intellectual relations with the rulers and scholars of the region, demonstrating how these interactions promoted Arabic and Islamic education. The research also sheds light on the methods adopted by Imam al-Maghili to spread Arabic culture, including writing scholarly works in Arabic, teaching Islamic and linguistic sciences, training scholars and judges, establishing circles of learning, reforming religious institutions, and maintaining scholarly correspondence that played a crucial role in guiding rulers and scholars while reinforcing the status of the Arabic language within society. The research concludes that Imam al-Maghili was one of the most influential scholarly figures in the flourishing of Arabic culture in West Africa. His efforts left enduring intellectual and civilizational legacies that extended to subsequent generations, contributing to the growth of scholarly activity, the spread of Arabic and Islamic education, and the emergence of numerous Arabic writings throughout the region. The study recommends giving greater attention to the intellectual heritage of Imam al-Maghili through the editing and publication of his manuscripts, as well as conducting further research on his cultural and intellectual influence in West Africa, given his outstanding significance in the history of Arabic and Islamic civilization.
