ملخص البحث:
يهدف هذا المقال إلى إبراز مجهودات الشيخ محمد بن عبد الكريم المغيلي (ت. 909هـ / 1504م) وإسهاماته الإصلاحية والتعليمية والدعوية في إمارة كانو من خلال رحلته الشهيرة إليها وحواره مع أميرها أحمد رمفا ودوره في توجيهه ونصحه في مجال سياسة الحكم وإدارة شؤون الرعية ، وكذلك بيان المعالم التجديدية التي جعلته مجدداً لهذه الإمارة بامتياز .
English Abstract:
This article aims to highlight the efforts and contributions of Sheikh Muhammad bin Abd al-Karim al-Maghili (d. 909 AH / 1504 CE)—spanning reform, education, and religious outreach—within the Emirate of Kano. It examines his famous journey to the region, his dialogue with Emir Muhammad Rumfa, and his role in guiding and advising the ruler on governance and the administration of the subjects' affairs. Furthermore, the article outlines the transformative and innovative aspects of his work that distinguished him as a true reformer (*mujaddid*) of the Emirate.
