يتناول هذا البحث سيرة العالم الصوفي الشيخ سعد أبيه القلقمي الإدريسي الهاشمي، بوصفه واحدًا من أبرز أعلام العلم والتصوف والإصلاح في إفريقيا الغربية جنوب الصحراء. ويسعى البحث إلى إبراز نسبه الشريف، وولادته ونشأته العلمية والروحية في بيئة فاضلية قادريّة، مع بيان تكوينه المعرفي ومكانته بين علماء عصره. كما يسلط الضوء على موسوعيته العلمية من خلال مؤلفاته المتنوعة في القرآن، والحديث، والفقه، والتصوف، واللغة، والسيرة، والعلوم الكونية، مما يعكس سعة اطلاعه وعمق تجربته الروحية والفكرية. ويبرز البحث كذلك أدواره الثقافية والاجتماعية والسياسية في ضفتي نهر السنغال، خاصة في نشر الإسلام، وتأسيس المحاظر والزوايا، وتربية المريدين، وخدمة المجتمع. وقد اعتمد الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لتتبع شخصية الشيخ سعد أبيه، وإظهار أثره العلمي والصوفي في تشكيل الوعي الديني والثقافي بإفريقيا الغربية.
English Abstract:
This study examines the biography, scholarship, and spiritual legacy of Sheikh Saad Abih al-Qalqami al-Idrisi al-Hashimi, one of the prominent Sufi scholars and reformist figures in West Africa south of the Sahara. It highlights his noble lineage, birth, upbringing, and intellectual formation within the Fadiliyya-Qadiriyya spiritual environment. The research also explores his scholarly status among the leading figures of his time and emphasizes his encyclopedic contributions to various fields, including Qur’anic studies, Hadith, jurisprudence, Islamic Sufism, Arabic language, Prophetic biography, astronomy, and other intellectual disciplines. Furthermore, the study sheds light on his cultural, social, and political roles along both banks of the Senegal River, particularly in spreading Islam, establishing educational centers, training disciples, and serving society. Using a descriptive and analytical approach, the research seeks to reveal the lasting impact of Sheikh Saad Abih on religious, cultural, and intellectual life in West Africa.
