This paper examines the contributions of Sheikh Khamisu Muhammad Mustapha to Islamic scholarship in Fika Emirate, with particular emphasis his role in promoting Islamic education, religious propagation. The study explores the Sheikh's intellectual legacy through his commitment to teaching the Qur'an and other Islamic sciences, mentoring students, delivering sermons, and providing guidance on religious and social matters. It highlights his efforts in authoring Islamic books and strengthening the traditional system of Islamic learning, producing competent scholars, and preserving the values and teachings of Islam within his community and beyond. The study adopts a qualitative historical research approach, relying on both primary and secondary sources. Primary data are obtained through oral interviews with the Sheikh, his students, colleagues, and members of the community, and secondary data. The collected data are analyzed using descriptive and analytical methods to evaluate the nature and significance of his scholarly contributions. The findings reveal that Sheikh Khamisu Muhammad Mustapha has made remarkable contributions to Islamic scholarship through his dedication to teaching, Da'wah, moral guidance, leadership, and the preservation of Islamic intellectual heritage. His scholarly activities have influenced generations of students and strengthened the practice and understanding of Islam in Fika Emirate and surrounding areas. The paper concludes that documenting the works of contemporary Muslim scholars is essential for preserving their intellectual legacy and inspiring future generations. It recommends greater institutional support for documenting the lives, teachings, and scholarly achievements of Muslim scholars to ensure the continuity of Islamic scholarship in Fika emirate.

يتناول هذا البحث إسهامات الشيخ خميس محمد مصطفى في الدراسات الإسلامية بإمارة فِكَا، مع التركيز بصورة خاصة على دوره في تعزيز التعليم الإسلامي والدعوة إلى الإسلام. وتستعرض الدراسة إرثه العلمي والفكري من خلال جهوده في تدريس القرآن الكريم والعلوم الإسلامية الأخرى، والإشراف على تربية الطلاب، وإلقاء الخطب والمحاضرات، وتقديم التوجيه والإرشاد في القضايا الدينية والاجتماعية. كما تسلط الضوء على إسهاماته في تأليف الكتب الإسلامية، وتعزيز نظام التعليم الإسلامي التقليدي، وإعداد العلماء المؤهلين، والمحافظة على قيم الإسلام وتعاليمه داخل مجتمعه وخارجه. واعتمدت الدراسة المنهج التاريخي النوعي، مستندة إلى المصادر الأولية والثانوية؛ حيث جُمعت البيانات الأولية من خلال المقابلات الشفوية مع الشيخ وطلابه وزملائه وعدد من أفراد المجتمع، إلى جانب الاستفادة من المصادر الثانوية ذات الصلة. وتم تحليل البيانات باستخدام المنهجين الوصفي والتحليلي لتقييم طبيعة إسهاماته العلمية وأهميتها. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن الشيخ خميس محمد مصطفى قدّم إسهامات بارزة في خدمة الدراسات الإسلامية من خلال تفانيه في التعليم، والدعوة الإسلامية، والإرشاد الأخلاقي، والقيادة الدينية، والمحافظة على التراث الفكري الإسلامي. كما كان لأنشطته العلمية أثرٌ واضح في تكوين أجيال من الطلاب، وتعزيز فهم الإسلام وممارسته في إمارة فِكَا والمناطق المجاورة. وتخلص الدراسة إلى أن توثيق أعمال العلماء المسلمين المعاصرين يُعد ضرورةً للحفاظ على إرثهم العلمي وإلهام الأجيال القادمة، وتوصي بتوفير دعم مؤسسي أكبر لتوثيق سير العلماء المسلمين، وتعاليمهم، وإنجازاتهم العلمية؛ ضمانًا لاستمرار مسيرة الدراسات الإسلامية في إمارة فِكَا.
